Eileen and Sister Bernadine,
My sincere sympathy at the passing of you sister, Mary Jean. She had such a way of making people feel important, with her genuine interest in them.
I remember her sparkling Irish eyes and pleasant chuckle, especially when sharing stories of her growing up years with us younger relatives.
May you feel God's loving arms wrapping around you now and in the times to come.
Love to you.

As one of her former grade school student I continue to value the scope of her goals and values. Who could forget her bright smile I remember from her early teaching days in Monmouth, Illinois at the Immaculate Conception School.

Sister Mary Jean will be sorely missed. She touched the lives of so many, including those of us in the St, Thomas More School Community. I enjoyed staying in touch with her in recent years, and she sent me photos of her 75th anniversary in the convent. Sister Mary Jean always asked about my family members -- by name -- and recalled anecdotes from her years at STM. A teacher myself, I often speak to my students about her. She was one of a kind. Rest in Peace, Sister Mary Jean. Say hello to Sister Beatrice for me. <3

The Feeney Family: I am very sorry for the loss of your dear loved one. May the God of all comfort be with the family during this difficult time. Acts 24:15 states, "that there will be a resurrection of the righteous and the unrighteous." I hope these words prove to be of some comfort to the family
