I am suprised to hear of Ruth's passing as she always seemed to be full of energy and life. I hope she did not endure any suffering. May you rest in peace Ruth.

Tony - Had not seen your mother in a number of years so was not aware of her health issues. Shocked me to see the obit. She will live on through you. She was always a joy to be around when attending the Rockridge events while you were in school with my son Ryan Reed. So much laughter in the stands when we were together! My sympathies to you on this great loss, cherish those wonderful memories made.

My sincere sympathy to Ruth's family. She was a very likable gal. She took my place as payroll clerk at Comm Action of Eastern Iowa when I retired in 2010. Condolences to the family.

I didn't know Ruth personally, but I knew of her. My sister, Carol Hender, can be a pretty tough cookie to the world. Inside, she's pretty much a softie. (Okay, sometimes) To be best friends with Carol means Ruth had to one special human being. She will be missed. My deepest sympathy to all who loved her so much.
