Dear Scott family. I am so sorry to have read of the recent death of Russell. Please accept my most sincere condolences. I would like to share something that I have personally found to be very comforting. It is found in the Bible at John 5:28,29 and Revelation 21:3-5. These verses tell us that soon God is going to bring about a resurrection of our dear loved ones, as well as do away with all the causes we have for suffering, including sickness & death. Knowing this has always comforted me and it is my hope that these thoughts will likewise comfort your family also during this most difficult time in your lives.

So sorry for your loss. Russ was such a kind man with an easy-flowing laugh. Beth and Russ have been a great couple to know and I know that this will leave Beth minus her lifelong friend as well as spouse. I was glad to know that she retired when she did so she could spend more quality time with Russ and the family. Whenever I heard either of them talk, they were sharing their love of their family. My heart and prayers go out to the entire family.

Our oldest made the comment, isn't he the one who used to sing House Of The Rising Sun? She would have been a teenager then. Shows what an impact this great man had on everyone. I will never listen to this song again without thinking of him. Hugs to you all.

Dear Beth and family,
We were neighbors on Ridgewood Road many years ago. I always admired you both as a loving family. May Russ rest in peace and may you find comfort knowing that he is now at rest. He won the battle.
Sincerely,

Dear Family, please accept my sincere condolences on the loss of such a great man. I join many others in thanking Russ for sharing his professional knowledge with me as we worked together in CCU at Franciscan. You will be missed because you touched so many lives, and set a great example of living life to its fullest and overcoming adversity with a grateful heart. May you rest in peace in heaven.
