Dear Ralph and Family -
I'm so sorry for your loss. You've had a long journey with your mother's illness and your father's exhaustion from it too. I wish you all comfort and relief. Love, Pat

Jeanne,
My deepest sympathy for you loss. May the loving memories of your dad comfort you and fill the void that he has left. Unable to attend his funeral and not knowing where to send a card, I am choosing this route to reach out to you.
I remember your dad in Tuesday group and Hiking Club. He was always friendly with a smile. A good hiker and an overall gentleman to be around.
You are in my thoughts with this prayer:
"Those we love don't go away;
they walk beside us everyday.
Unseen, unheard, but always near.
Still loved, still missed, still cherished
everyday of the year . . .
Forever in our heart."

I would like to express my deepest sympathies to Ralph's family on his passing. When I joined the Black Hawk Hiking Club in the mid 1980's, Ralph and Lou were active members. They were a lovely couple. I do not think I ever heard Ralph say a mean or unkind word; he was always friendly and upbeat. It was a privilege to have known them.

To the Family of Ralph Smith,
We lived at the end of 27th Avenue when the houses were all new. Your Dad was a good man, took wonderful care of your Mother. They were a team. So sorry for your loss.
