It was a pleasure working with Merle while at Illowa. He always made your day better just being around him. He and Marjorie will be missed.

Marge and Jr. were the best people to me when I was growing up as their neighbor, They were the best , and kept me out of a lot of trouble as a kid. Now they are both in Heaven watching over other kids, like they did me. Thanks for all their Love.

Meryl and Marg were such nice people and great friends. I am in the hospital right now so I cannot attend any services. I will send one of my daughters to represent me. It was so wonderful to see my good friends in March. May perpetual light shine upon them always. Until we meet again.............

I am so sorry for the passing of Marge and Jr. They were so good to me as I was growing up next door to them. They were the best, and now they are in heaven together, happy again.

My brother Owen and I are saddened to hear of Merle's passing. We spent several winters as neighbors in Texas and enjoyed every moment of them. He and Marge were also bluegrass friends.
I'm glad that they are both out of pain and are together again in the arms of Jesus. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.

It was a privilege knowing Marge n Merle. They were great neighbors. I enjoyed bantering with Marge and helping Merle when he needed help and he was always there when I needed help. We will miss them terribly, but now they are together again.
