Wayne was such a great guy !!! Whenever I could spare the time from my housekeeping chores at Heartland I would go and visit with Wayne ... He had great advice and great taste in music !!! Weekends were the best time to hear those awesome tunes and maybe a pizza here and there . I have nothing but good to say about Wayne and hold nothing but love for him in my heart ... the world has lost a colorful soul but I'm sure we'll see him in the rainbows ... <3

Wayne, Thank you for being my friend. You watched out for me from the beginning of my restaurant career starting at Huffs. Thanks for not beating me up when I took your seat next to Beth, Thanks for taking care of me in Ft. Myers and being a great waiter at Charles Michel and later at Duck City Bistro. Bryan~~I was so saddened to see this. Wayne was such a good guy, as are you for being his good friend. You may not be aware that my brother, John Wheeler, also passed away this month from pancreatic cancer.. He passed on 3/5 at the VA hospital in Columbia, MO. I so enjoyed my visits with Wayne after he returned to the QC.
