I met Dorothy when I was 17 years old,( I'm 58 now), and working with her at a local nursing home. She taught me many things about caring for people. we had many a good time working 3-11 on the 4th floor. we were a team. She spoke often of her faith, and treated our patients like family. she helped build the foundation of nursing practice and principles I went on to use in my own nursing career. I'm very sorry for your loss, it was an honor to know her.
