Audrey was in name my great aunt but to me a grandmother. Her relationship to my grandmother Dorothy has provided me with the best example of both being a sister and a mother. Her independent happiness has greatly influenced me throughout my life. I consider myself the luckiest of people to have experienced her love. I will continue to emulate her as a sister, someday mother, and independent minded woman and pass her message and influence along to all those I come across.

Audrey and Darlene Hauff, my mom, worked many years together at the phone company in Hastings. Audrey was a 2nd grandmother to our kids. We would stop at her apartment every Halloween. Dustin & Stephanie got treats, but the adults got the REAL treat - her famous cinnamon rolls! I've never had a roll without thinking of Audrey. I don't think I ever will stop.

I a, so sorry to hear of Audrey's passing. I worked in the Hastings Ne Telephone Co where she was my chief operator. Very nice to work for and enjoyed knowing her. Prayers and Blessings to the family.
