Pat was born March 13, 1940, to E. Herbert and Mildred (Rider) Williams in Flint, Michigan where she grew up and graduated from Owosso High School.
Pat served as a member of the United States Air Force and was stationed on the Travis Air Force Base in California, where she met and married John Maggio.
The couple raised their two daughters in Milan, Illinois and together owned and operated Quint City Security Safe, Lock and Alarm for over 20 years. Pat moved to Moline in 1990.
Pat was a wonderful mother to two daughters, Sheryl and Johnna, a devoted grandmother to three grandchildren, AJ, Blake, and Brianna. She was also enjoying her newest role as a great grandmother to four beautiful children, Weston, Lily, Teddy, and Collins.
She was a great friend to many, but her very special group of friends known to all as “The Lunch Bunch” met for over 40 years. Pat was an avid reader and volunteered at Youth Hope’s Book Room. She loved traveling and spending time near the water.
She will be greatly missed by all her family and friends.
The family would especially like to thank the staffs at the VA Hospitals in Iowa City and Davenport, as well as Hospice Compassus for their compassionate care.
