David Keith Muller

David K. Muller, 69, of Coal Valley, passed away Thursday, January 15, 2026 at UP. Trinity, Rock Island.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, January 21, 2026 at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, 3030-7th Avenue, Rock Island with visitation one hour prior to service. Burial will be at National Cemetery, Rock Island with military honors.  In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.     

David was born June 22, 1956 in Rock Island, the son of Donald and Roberta “Jean” (Tumlin) Muller.  He married Robin Bradley on May 16, 1973 in Moline.  She preceded him in death in 2004.  He married Nancy Patton on October 26, 2024 in Rock Island.

David was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran.  He retired as an Engineer from the Rock Island Arsenal in 2016. 

David was an avid fisherman.

Survivors include his wife, Nancy; sons, Teddy (Lindsay) Storm, Davenport and Donald (Bridget) Muller, East Moline; step-sons, Rick (Andrea) Zeroth and Doug Zeroth; grandchildren, Brandon Keith Muller, Hannah Muller, Roman Storm and Mila Storm; great-grandson, Kyler Reid; papa, Nick Brandle, Rock Island; sister, Chris (Gordan) Olson and brothers, Allen Muller, Scott Muller, Bobby Johnson and twin brother, Daniel Muller.  He was preceded in death by his parents, son, David P. Muller and brothers, Randy McIntrye and Jimmy Johnson.
