Clinton “Clint” Ray Rawls Sr., 76, of Milan, IL, passed away unexpectedly, Tuesday, July 28, 2020 at his home.
Clint was born on May 14, 1944 in Piggott, AR, the son of Louis and Rosa (Hedgecock) Rawls. After Clint moved to Iowa, his uncle Miron and Aunt Helen Rawls, where a big part of his life.
“Back in the Day” Clint was in the Night Rider Motorcycle Club. His CB handle was Side Saddle.
After 37 years he retired from Case IH as a repairman. Clint loved to spend time with family, fish, work on small engines, ride his Harley, socialize and help family and friends.
He married Derise Starling March 21, 1998.
Survivors include his children, Tammie Rawls Banks, Clint and Bonnie Rawls Jr., Davenport, Robyn and Ryan Lehnart, Chicago; grandchildren, Damien and Amanda Banks, Heather and Callum Dickins, Chad Rawls, and Ty Lehnart; great granddaughter, Mackinzie Renkes; his wife, Derise and her children, Vince, Angie, Nadine, Tricia, Larry, and Todd; step children, Karen, Gene, and Sandy; step grandchildren, Adrianna, Alexis, Kaitlyn, and Ashley; many great grandchildren; and many cousins, Rick and Rebecca Reeves. He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Rosa; siblings, Dallas Rawls, Bill Rawls, Pat Friedman and Sherri Williams.
Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Sunday, August 2, 2020 at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, 201 E. 4th Ave., Milan, IL. In accordance with public gathering restrictions, visitation attendees are required to wear a mask and social distance.
The Celebration of Life Gathering will be from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm on Sunday at the Elks Lodge in Davenport, IA, 4400 W. Central Park Avenue.
