Thomas DeBo Obituary

Thomas G. DeBo, 60, of Rock Island, passed away on Thursday, February 14, 2019 at his home. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 am, Thursday at St. Pius X Catholic Church, Rock Island. Memorial Visitation will be from 4 to 7pm, Wednesday at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Rock Island. Inurnment will be in the Rock Island National Cemetery, where military honors will be conducted by the Moline American Legion Post No. 246. 

Tom was born on July 4, 1958 in Rock Island, a son of Eugene and Corinne (Lahey) DeBo. He married Nancy Davidson on October 3, 1992 in Rock Island. Tom was an electrician working out of the IBEW Local Hall No. 145, Moline. He retired in August 2018. He was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local No. 145, Moline. He enjoyed golfing, fishing and was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan. Tom was a U.S. Navy veteran. 

Survivors include his son, Mitchell DeBo, Rock Island; mother and her spouse, Corinne and Norman Pete, Rock Island; siblings and spouses, Terri and John Wright, Rock Island, Matt and Colleen DeBo, Moline, Pamela and Chris Ontiveros, Long Boat Key, Florida and Cindy and Greg Steckel, Sherrard; as well as several nieces and nephews.
