Marlene M. Aldeman, 82, of Rock Island, passed away Friday May 11, 2018 at Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House, Bettendorf.
Services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, 3030 – 7th Ave., Rock Island. Inurnment will be in National Cemetery. Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House, Bettendorf.
Marlene was born July 13, 1935 in Ottumwa, Iowa, a daughter of Elmer “Buster” and Violet Smallwood Carr. She married Ronald K. Aldeman on July 28, 1969 in Rock Island. He preceded her in death on November 21, 2012.
Marlene was a homemaker. She enjoyed cooking, watching sitcoms and going for walks.
She was a former member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Rock Island V.F.W. Post 1303.
Surviving are her sons and their wives, Dennis and Antoinette Aldeman, Rock Island and Tim and Annette Aldeman, Moline; grandchildren, Briannon and Gannon Aldeman, Aiden Webb, Cheyanne Creger, Amanda and Ava Aldeman; great grandchild, Milo Aldeman; sister and brother-in-law, Janice and Jerry Meiers, Ottumwa, Iowa and brothers, Ronald Carr, Russell, Iowa, and Bob Smallwood, Ottumwa, Iowa.
Marlene was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
