| Marilyn G. Yeater, 67, of Viola, passed away Saturday June 19, 2010 at Trinity, Rock Island.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00am, Thursday at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, Milan, with visitation begining at 10:00am. Burial will be in Cordova Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to American Cancer Society or a favorite charity.
Marilyn was born on January 7, 1943 in Cordova, the daughter of Richard and Margaret Pettit Woy. She married Waine Yeater on July 7, 1961 in Rock Island.
Mrs. Yeater was employed by Ragan Mechanical, Davenport. Previously she had been employed by Howard Steel Co., Davenport for 20 years.
Marilyn loved spending time with her family, hosting attending family gatherings and camping.
Survivors include her husband, Waine; son, Richard Yeater, Aurora, IL and sister and brother in law, Patricia and Hugh Kuehl, Rock Island and many wonderful friends.
