| Linda S. Walton, 60, of Milan got her wings on Thursday June 17, 2010.
Funeral services will be 10AM Wednesday June 23, 2010 at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, Milan. Visitation will be from 6-8PM Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Chippiannock Cemetery, Rock Island. Memorials may be made to the family.
Linda was born on July 29, 1949 in Rock Island, the daughter of Clyde and June Potter Holcomb. She married Kenneth Walton on January 30, 1970 in Rock Island.
Mrs. Walton was formerly employed by Augustana College as a cook.
She was a member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, East Moline. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and many friends. Linda enjoyed watching the Price is Right game show, playing bingo and cards and camping.
She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Sr.; children and their spouses, Sonja and Randy Schoch, Milan, Kenneth Walton Jr., Milan, Joanne and Dan Scarsella, Milan, Olivia and Kevin Morrow, Davenport, Keith and Kari Walton, Cushing, TX; 10 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; brothers, Rick Holcomb, Geneseo and Brad Holcomb, Milan.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Joanne. | |
