| Lottie J. Weber, 100, of Milan, passed away Tuesday May 18, 2010 at her home.
Funeral services will be 11:00a.m., Friday at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, Milan. Visitation will be from 4:00-7:00p.m., Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Rock Island Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Church of Peace United Church of Christ, Rock Island, Heartland Hospice, Quad City Animal Welfare Center, Milan or a favorite charity.
Lottie was born on November 27, 1909 in Roseville, Il, the daughter of Robert Boyd and Maud (Romine) McLaughlin. She married Peter H. Weber on April 22, 1927 at Church of Peace UCC, Rock Island. He preceded her in death on August 4, 1978.
Mrs. Weber was employed by the former McCabe’s Department Store, Rock Island for over 20 years until her retirement in 1973.
She was a member of Church of Peace United Church of Christ, Rock Island, Women’s Guild and Martha Rolf Circle.
She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and traveling in her motor home until 2007.
Survivors include her nieces and nephews, William and Jan Johnson, Davenport, Larry and Sarah Kirby, Milan, Chuck and Bev Wilt, Rock Island, Leslie and Lois Marston, Roseville, IL, Connie and Bob Weckel, Colona; special friend, Carol Ginneberge, Milan and her little dog, Missy.
She was preceded in death by her husband; son, Peter E. Weber; 3 sisters and 4 brothers. | |
