| Patricia K. “Pat” Owen, 62, of Milan, died Saturday May 8, 2010, at Trinity Pathway Hospice, Bettendorf, IA.
Services are 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, 201 E. 4th Ave., Milan. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery, Rock Island. Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Trinity Pathway Hospice.
Patricia was born December 12, 1947 in Rock Island. She married Ray Owen on June 19, 1964 in Milan. He preceded her in death on July 28, 2003.
She worked at Jaydon, Rock Island, for 18 years. She then worked at Promotional Support Services, Rock Island, for 16 years until retiring in 2009.
Pat was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Milan. She loved to sew, make crafts, and play games. She especially loved spending time with family and friends, and will be greatly missed by all.
Surviving are her mother, Elizabeth “Betty” Eng, Milan; daughter, Chris King, and her fiancé Jeff Aversing, Milan; son, Dale Owen, and his wife Cheryl, Rock Island; god-daughter, Erica Mae Eng, Erie, IL; grandchildren, Katie Rae, Hayden, and Kyia; brothers, Ed E. Potter, Silvis, and his children Lisa and Lorey and Tom Eng, and his wife Shelli, Erie, IL; several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Pat is preceded in death by her husband and stepfather, Robert E. Eng.
The family would like to thank Dr. Diab, his staff, and the nurses and staff at Trinity, Rock Island, and Trinity Pathway Hospice, Bettendorf, for their kindness and care.
