| Dean L. De Bord, 68, of Milan, died Wednesday April 16, 2008 at Trinity Medical Center, West Campus, Rock Island.
Services are 11:00 a.m. Friday at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, 201 E. 4th Ave., Milan. Burial will be in National Cemetery, Arsenal Island. Visitation will be one hour prior to services Friday at the funeral home.
Dean Lee De Bord was born February 2, 1940 in Moline, IL, a son of Howard L. and Marie C. (Johnson) De Bord. Dean was a U.S. Army veteran. He married the former Patricia Martin on March 14, 1962 in Rock Island.
He owned and operated De Bord Trucking for 40 years. He retired in 2007.
Surviving are his wife, Pat, of Milan; children (and spouses), Dean (Reika) De Bord, Woodhull, IL, Todd and Kenny De Bord, both of Milan, Debbie (Larry) Zacco, East Moline, Wayne Taylor, Davenport, and Cindy (Tim) Davis, Andalusia; 20 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
His parents, brother, Don, and sisters, Betty and Joyce, preceded him in death.
