| Beverly J. Stevens, 70 of Rock Island, died Saturday, March 1, 2008 at Trinity Medical
Center, Rock Island. Services will be 1:00 pm, Wednesday at the Wheelan-Pressly Funeral
Home, 3030 – 7th Avenue, Rock Island. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5 – 7 pm at
the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the family. Inurnment will be at a later
date.
Beverly was born on July 18, 1937 in Moline, the daughter of Clarence and Ethel Essex Delles.
Ms. Stevens worked as a stand manger for Ogden Foods at the I Wireless Center, Moline.
Her memberships included, Intouch Adult Day Services, Svithiod Club of Moline, East End Club,
and Friends Circle. She was an avid NASCAR and Stock Car fan, and a fan of NASCAR Driver, Tony
Stewart. Beverly was also a San Francisco 49er’s fan; she also greatly enjoyed doing jig saw puzzles,
crocheting and decorating her home for the holidays.
Survivors include her children and their spouses, Deb and Rod Menken, Marion, IA,
Norine and Brian Daw, Port Bryon, Dale Adams, Moline, Craig “The Dude” Adams and
his fiancée, Jennifer Kososki, Rock Island, Kelly and Randy Bishop, Eldridge; grand children,
Taryan, Brennan, Jessi, Keegan, Noah, R.J., Steven and Miranda; sisters, Trudy Stratton and
Mary Jo Delles , both of Galva; brother, Vernon “Butch” Delles, East Moline.
Beverly was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Bill Delles, Don Delles and a son,
Randy Crowe.
