| Bernice L. Finley, 76 of Andalusia, died Wednesday, February 20, 2008 at Trinity Medical Center, Rock Island. Services will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, Milan. Visitation will be 12:00 p.m.to service time at the funeral home. Burial will be at Andalusia Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
Mrs. Finley was born January 11, 1932 in Abington, IL, the daughter of Paul and Edith Lemon Daly. She married Clifford Roe in 1948 in Rock Island. She later married Robert Finley in 1957 in Rock Island. He died October 17, 1994.
Bernice was a homemaker. In her earlier years worked at the former Servus Rubber Company, Rock Island. She was a member of Community Baptist Church, Andalusia. She loved antiques, gardening and working with leather crafts.
She is survived by daughters and son-in-law, Brenda and Walt Hartshorn, Andalusia, Cindy Finley, Andalusia; sons and daughters-in-law, Ben and Dena Roe, Sherrard, Robert T. Finley, Andalusia, Ronald W. and Dawn Finley, Andalusia; grandchildren and spouses, Colleen (Trent), Russell (Patty), Benjamin, Amanda, Shelby and Sammy; great grandchildren, Ryan, Jackie, Nick and Nate; brother and sister-in-law, James and Ellen Daly, Missouri. She was preceded by parents, sister, Harriet McKillip.
