Janet Jackson Obituary

Janet E. Jackson, 63, of Moline, passed away Monday April 16, 2018 at home.

 Services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, 201 E. 4th Ave., Milan, with visitation one hour prior to services. Burial will be at Moline Memorial Park, Moline. Memorials may be made to the food pantry at Grace Bible Fellowship Church, Moline.

 Janet was born June 23, 1954 in Charleston, West Virginia, a daughter of Robert and Ethel Perry Kirk. She married Gary W. Jackson on March 26, 1988 in Wooster, Ohio.

 She was a homemaker, and will be fondly remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She loved spending time with and caring for her family.

 Janet was a member of Grace Bible Fellowship Church, Moline. She enjoyed crafts, fishing, and spending time outdoors.

 Surviving are her husband, Gary, of Moline; children and their spouses, Amy and Joel Holmes, Houston, Tex., Wayne and Cindy Newbury, Massillon, Ohio, Jessica Newbury, Reynoldsburg, Ohio, and Kenneth and Tara Newbury, Moline; thirteen grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren; siblings, Clara Short, Bettendorf, Iowa, David, Alice and Claude Kirk, all of Florida, and Carolyn Boreman, of Kent, Ohio; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other family.
